MEMBERSHIP LEVELS AND ROLES

Executive Board

Purpose

Provide overall strategic direction, oversight, and governance for NACCSR.

Composition

  • Chair

  • Vice-Chair

  • Working Group Chairs (serving as liaisons between their working groups and the Executive Board)

  • Immediate Past Chair (for continuity and institutional knowledge)

  • Secretary (responsible for managing agendas, minutes, meeting invitations, and administrative coordination)

Responsibilites

  • Set strategic priorities and long-term goals

  • Evaluate working group progress and effectiveness

  • Oversee budget and resource allocation

  • Approve new working groups and major initiatives

  • Make decisions on membership policies and governance

Working Group Members

Leadership Roles

  • Chair: Leads the working group and serves as a liaison to the Executive Board; serves one- to two-year term

  • Vice-Chair: Supports the Chair and prepares for leadership transition; serves one- to two-year term with overlap

  • Secretary: Manages working group agendas, minutes, and meeting coordination

General Working Group Members

Active participants in working group activities who contribute expertise, attend meetings, and support working group objectives. Membership is established at NACCSR meetings, with processes for adding new members defined by each working group.

General Members

NACCSR members who participate in the broader organization but are not affiliated with a specific working group or leadership role.

Rights and Responsibilities

  • Attend NACCSR member meetings

  • Access resources and information via the NACCSR website

  • Voting rights on organizational matters (if voting procedures are established)

  • Eligibility to join working groups or pursue leadership positions

Honorary Members

Retired members or distinguished contributors who maintain affiliation with NACCSR in recognition of their service and expertise.

Status and Privileges

  • Non-voting status (unless otherwise specified)

  • May attend meetings and events

  • Invited to provide guidance and mentorship

  • Recognized for contributions to the organization
